Tourist flow to Crimea from January to August of this year exceeded 5.3 million people, which is 16% higher than in 2024. According to the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea, during the three summer months, 3 million 775 thousand people vacationed in our region, representing a 15% increase over last year's figures.
61% of visitors arrived in the republic via the Crimean Bridge by cars and buses, 23% came by railway, and 16% traveled through the new regions.
«The southern coast received the highest number of tourists at 43%, more than a third of vacationers chose the western coast, and 15% visited the eastern shore», noted the Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov.
«The average occupancy rate of accommodation facilities from June to August was 70%, which is 9% higher than last year. The most popular accommodations were in the city of Saki with 78% occupancy, followed by Evpatoria and Yalta with 77% and 76% respectively».
